Bronze Age Fireplace Accessories

"Bronze Age" is inspired by human's first tools. The collection is composed of a fire poker, a shovel and fire dogs. The tools were made by choosing existing branches in the woods and roughly removing the bark, then casting them in bronze for the poker and shovel and in iron for the fire dogs. Their shapes are complex and brutal and appeal to the senses.

"Bronze Age" accessories are living objects. They darken and oxidize after being used for a while. They have a very physical weight since they are made from solid metal. Their shapes are not perfect, since they are entirely cast and polished by hand.
